Overview
The FLATenna is a flexible, paper-thin indoor TV antenna able to receive over-the-air (OTA) broadcast signals from 35 miles. The reversible black and white finish provides added versatility for moving the antenna to different locations in the home while remaining aesthetically pleasing. The FLATenna provides free live digital TV networks including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, The CW, Univision, Telemundo and more.
TV antennas are making a comeback now that more channels are available for free over-the-air and since the high-definition (HD) picture quality of OTA is better than cable and satellite. With so many options on the market, the FLATenna was designed to make the buying decision easy for those that are new to OTA or who have little to no knowledge about antennas. All you need to know is that the FLATenna receives the highest quality signal technically possible in an antenna of its size, it's inexpensive, reliable and the trusted Channel Master brand has been around since 1949.
The FLATenna is a great starter antenna for anyone who is not capable of installing an outdoor antenna, apartment dwellers and virtually anyone seeking a solid indoor TV antenna but not looking to spend a lot of money. The FLATenna is a thin, durable, non-amplified indoor TV antenna, able to receive digital broadcast signals from 35 miles from towers.
Specifications
I expected the setup for this to be quick and easy, because I had a similar antenna from my other TV, and it was quick and easy. And more importantly it works very well, which I was a bit concerned about, because this one is located in a more interior room without a window and halfway underground. So it does work great, but only after trying the tape first temporarily and then trying to stick it permanently with the supplied stickers and finding the reception to go immediately downhill fast. With the stickers the reception went bad when the antenna was pushed away from the wall surface. So I ended up using the holes in the corners to nail in tiny nails, and then the reception immediately got good again, because the antenna was once again flat against the wall. My recommendation is to not use the stickers that come with the antenna, because (1) they provide worse reception and (2) will pull the paint and even some plaster off your wall when you remove them unless you do it within a minute or two.
Recommend this for anyone looking for an antenna?
Small but very strong reception
Fits my needs perfectly at a fair price.
This was an eye-opener. Had never had good luck with antennas, so relied on cable for local TV. This FLATenna is a life and money saver. Thanks.
