This mast is sturdier than the typical antenna masts. It has rings at the top of the sections to attach guy wires. I am using this mast to hold a Davis Instruments weather station integrated measuring package and it is definitely a step up from the antenna mast that I was using.

I think that the unit is fine, but surprised it did not come with hooks or wire and clamps. I did not use the chimney clamps and will return them.
It is easy to put up and add wires to hold it in place.

I received my mast for my antenna and it is better than I expected. My neighbor came over and saw it so she ordered one also. We both cut the cord . Would recommend to anyone.

I bought a 15' mast and haven't used it yet put it was well packaged and looks to be very well made.
