Extreme 80

This antenna works better than my directional one. The signal seems to be steady. Channels are not fading anymore.

Extreme 80

Upgraded from an omnidirectional antenna that was outside, that didn't get very many channels to the Extreme 80 antenna that I put in the attic. Worked great I got over 60 channels which was way more than expected. It is picking up stations 60 miles away. I lost some channels when I connected a second TV but I added Amplify Adjustable Gain Preamplifier and regained all the channels back again. Highly recommended.

Extreme 80

A metal building was built between our house and the major TV transmitters in San Antonio. This created reception problems with KLRN (PBS) and KSAT (ABC) stations although the transmitter towers are only 25 miles away. I bought the Channel Master Pro-Model with no improvement. I bought the Extreme 80 which has resolved the issue completely - no periodic black-out or pixellation. Excellent results!

Very Good Antenna

Upgraded from a Xtreme Signal 8-Bay Bowtie Outdoor HDTV Antenna 65 Mile VHF/UHF (HDB8X) which was junk, and the HDB8X picked up ~9 stations from my location. My location is higher than the broadcast locations in the Pittsburgh Pa area and my average distance from the transmitters is ~55 miles. Once I connected the EXTREMEtenna 80, I received 30 station and two that are over 90 miles away. Signals were improved for all of the previous channels I received by ~25%. For my situation, I use the TV Antenna Booster 2 and an outdoor mount.

Worth It

I was using an RCA directional antenna mounted outside to the side of the house. It was OK but always had intermittent problems with the local CBS station which is about 50 miles away. The last storm knocked it out of position and I got tired of going up and down the ladder to find the optimal direction. Replaced it with the Extremetenna 80 and it's been amazing! It's mounted in the attic and roughly pointed in the direction of the CBS tower. Signal strength is about 20% higher than the RCA antenna and CBS have been solid. Even though I only use a few of the local network stations, Extremetenna 80 pulled in 103 stations which is about 30 more stations then the RCA. I waited because of the price tag and wanted to get more mileage out of the RCA but the replacement have been worth it.
