Reception Range up to 70 Miles from Broadcast Towers
Competitor TV antennas typically claim anywhere from 50 to 250-mile reception ranges; however, they are rarely tested and confirmed to receive signals from these distances. The Channel Master Pro-Model antenna was designed in the US and tested approximately 70 miles from the Phoenix, Arizona broadcast towers and confirmed to receive excellent signal reception from all major broadcast networks. In addition, the Pro-Model antenna underwent comprehensive beta-testing in multiple different locations across the US. The beta tests were performed by a list of strategically selected Channel Master Authorized Dealers with years of experience installing, maintaining and repairing TV antenna systems.
Optimized for UHF and VHF Frequencies
The new Pro-Model antenna is designed to optimize the recent “Post Repack” frequencies up to 608MHz. Eliminating the need to receive frequencies above 608MHz allowed significant improvements to the primary frequencies, maximizing reception and minimizing the overall size. The Pro-Model antenna has impressive realized passive gain across both UHF and VHF bands up to 9.7dB.
Upgradeable - Built for the Future
The Pro-Model antenna's design includes a modular approach ideal for areas requiring additional gain or future applications when broadcasters re-arrange broadcast signals and/or frequencies. Element sections can be attached improving the reception (gain) of VHF frequencies, UHF frequencies or both. In addition to upgradability, the modular design enables the antenna to be repaired by making antenna elements replaceable. When VHF and UHF extensions are added to the base Pro-Model antenna, 2dB to 10dB increases in realized passive gain can be achieved respectively by frequency.
Built to Last
As with all Channel Master products, the quality of materials and product craftsmanship is our highest priority. The Pro-Model is assembled and packaged at Channel Master's Chandler, Arizona corporate headquarters. The antenna boom and elements are made from high-quality 6061 and 6063 aluminum and extruded, cut and drilled in the United States. The Pro-Model's design is intended to reduce the amount of plastic required; however, for a few plastic parts on the antenna, they are injection molded locally from high-quality UV resistant ASA and PVC materials.
Specifications
I happen to get the channels that Channel Master channel search said I probably could not get. Perhaps it is an underrated television antenna. A little signal loss in the rain in channels that are weak, but that is natural and it is temporary. I had my doubts about this little antenna. I replaced a broken, significantly larger, antenna with it.
After purchasing a new home, it was time to buy a new antenna. Having used Channel Master antennas for many years, I wanted to avoid any HOA drama and opted for an attic installation using the Pro-Model UHF/VHF antenna coupled with a Pre-Amp 1.
I installed the power inserter and gain switch where I have easy access from the attic storage area just in case I need to adjust the gain.
After installing in the attic and running about 50’ of RG6 into my existing cable distribution box, I was up and running.
Using an indoor amplified flat panel I could pull in about 37 channels, some being weak. With the new attic installation, I scanned 74 stations and the core of what watch have very strong signals.
I can certainly recommend the Channel Master Pro antennae and Pre-Amp 1.
Asked Channel Master for advice for my area for reception I was advised getting this antenna, ordered the antenna, antenna uhf extension, TV booster 4 along with a TV Antenna Pre Amp 1 and short coaxial cable and coaxial weather boots everything came quickly in a few days time. Installed the antenna with all equipment and the results are nothing short of being the best quality and the reception and quality of signal improved tv channels how clearly the tv stations come in without signal interference from other signals in the air waves. Can’t say enough about Channel Master, except saying great. Thank you for being a great company and all the support that I got from your staff.
I live about 50 miles from the cluster of towers. I entered my address and Channelmaster PRO and a preamp..Easy instructions used their pointing app and picked up over 90 channels. Of course some I dont watch. I did have to turn on hi gain but it works on 3 tvs, 2 of them with 50' cable. Thanks for the suggestion and I would recommend for sure. My antenna is about 15' outside by the way with some trees across the property
I had a new roof installed and wanted to move the old Yagi style antenna to the attic to avoid holes in the new shingles. Unfortunately the signal was weak on some channels resulting in intermittent pixelization.
The Channel Master techs recommended the Pro Model antenna but did not recommend installing it in the attic. However, I thought I would have the best chance for success in the attic with this model.
I used the Channel Master 4-way power splitter close to the antenna and ran new coaxial cable to 4 TV's through out the house. So far all my local channels on all four TV's are picture perfect.
The true test will be when there is a foot of snow on the roof. If that happens I will just mount the Pro Model on the roof this Spring.
The packaging and build quality of antenna is outstanding making it a good value.
I'm very pleased with the support and the product. The fact that it is made in the USA adds to a great experience.
