The Zinwell NextGen TV Box (Model ZAT-600B) is a stand-alone single-tuner ATSC 1.0/3.0 receiver that connects to a standard digital TV antenna and is designed to decode and tune both ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 broadcast signals. It is an ideal solution for televisions that do not include a built-in ATSC 3.0 tuner, allowing consumers to experience the benefits of NEXTGEN TV without replacing their existing TV.
The ZAT-600B supports future 4K broadcasts, enhanced Dolby audio, broadcaster applications, an on-screen TV guide, and includes a universal learning remote that can be programmed to control your television and sound bar. Certified to carry the NEXTGEN TV logo, the Zinwell receiver is security verified to operate without requiring an internet connection. Recognizing the importance of antenna quality for reliable NEXTGEN TV reception, Zinwell selected Channel Master as its preferred partner for TV antennas and accessories.
The Zinwell NextGen TV Box easily connects to any digital TV antenna and enables reception of both ATSC 1.0 and ATSC 3.0 broadcasts. As broadcasters continue expanding NEXTGEN TV services, the receiver is ready to support new features including 4K video, enhanced Dolby audio, interactive broadcaster applications, and additional services as they become available.
Although some NEXTGEN TV features are still being rolled out by broadcasters, many ATSC 3.0 channels are already transmitting in higher resolutions than traditional ATSC 1.0 broadcasts. Many stations are also expected to introduce High Dynamic Range (HDR) programming, delivering improved color, brightness, and contrast.
The receiver can also upscale 1080p broadcasts to 4K through its HDMI output, enhancing picture quality on compatible televisions. The included remote features a dedicated App button that launches broadcaster-provided hybrid OTA/Internet applications whenever they become available.
An integrated electronic program guide automatically retrieves updated guide information directly from broadcasters whenever you tune to a channel. To determine whether NEXTGEN TV service is available in your area, simply use Channel Master's coverage tool and filter results by NEXTGEN TV / ATSC 3.0.
