Description Technical Specifications FAQ's & Support Docs

The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier will amplify signals received by your antenna. This antenna amplifier is a high gain, low noise preamplifier used to allow weaker signals at the antenna to be amplified to a viewable strength, and is ideal for installations in which all broadcast towers are located at a distance of more than 80 miles. The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier is a two part unit, an outdoor amplification unit which is mounted on the mast of your antenna system and an indoor unit which powers the outdoor amplification unit. The indoor unit is stationed indoors and connects to the outdoor unit via coaxial cable. The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier is recommended for professional installers only. Due to the high gain output of this product, it can result in over amplification if not used in the appropriate scenario. Over amplification can cause issues with the television tuner’s ability to receive and display some or all channels.

5 of 5 Works just like described January 12, 2021

Had a weak signal on 7 channels before I installed the preamp. Now I have perfect signal even after splitting the signal to 4 television sets. It allowed me to regain my local news while Dish had it blocked and now I save money every month and gained 10 channels that Dish didn't offer.  Great product.

Live in the foot hills off the Great Smoky Mountains so no cable unless satellite. Had a few channels fade away over the years especially at night during the winter. Decided to try this and it works great, even got e few others that never came in before.

5 of 5 2EDGE Preamp December 29, 2020
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Woodstock Alabama
I have only had this for a few days so keep in mind I have no idea how long it will last. I have used this on two prototype DIY VS8Bs and the AD DB8e. Without this preamp, 8 channels on two different frequencies. With my second prototype vertical stacked 8 bowtie, I was able to get 50 channels from 12 different frequencies ranging from channel (actual not virtual) 7 to 36. [bowtie length X bowtie spacing X bowtie spread X reflector distance X 4 bay separation] ; (10" X 9.5" X 6.5" X 4" X 15"). Hand wound 4:1 on T61 toroid. The AD DB8e is missing all the VHF. All my available channels are 2Edge. In other words...it works!
