Ultra Mini 4 November 20, 2017

Used the Channel Master Ultra 4 to replace a 7 year older version that was still working.  Figured I would install the new unit now and hold the older for a back-up.  Found that all reception is superior over the older version.  HD reception is excellent and far surpass the satellite reception that we have had enjoyed in the past.  Pulling in 32-40 channels with 3 sets of RG6 cables running to 3 different rooms in the house.   All 3 TV's picture quality is actually close to unbelievable.

Great if you have the necessary power supply. July 31, 2017

I replaced my original splitter with this and realized an immediate and noticeable improvement but be forewarned that you need a readily accessible power supply. I was lucky in that I had an extra coax previously run thst I wasn't using. Also be warnef that not only is Channel Master customer service next to impossible to contact and if you are so "fortunate", they are of absolutely no help. I was extremely disappointed as I was of the impression tbat Channel Master was this All-American company thst was more than willing to help cord-cutters.

An excellent signal booster July 27, 2017

Having recently entered the non-cable environment, I was please to find that the channel selection was excellent on an antenna.  I needed a booster to get from the antenna to the other end of a 70+ foot long ranch house.  The Ultra Mini 4 does an excellent job, and the furthest TV from the antenna now gets all 47 channels that the closest TV to the antenna gets.

Great product. If you have a good antenna install this will distribute it perfectly. You won't be disappointed.

Works great if....... June 14, 2017

Ultra mini 4 brought my farthest stations to clarity but only after I had used new cables. The cables used were spliced once and had compression fittings installed. Evidently they were poorly done as once I had replaced the old, used cables with new non spliced cables the unit worked flawlessly as before I had less channels than before with just my antenna. Keep this in mind that the less splicing the better on your install. I had no idea the difference that alone would make.
