I researched outdoor antennas until my head spun - lots of options, almost every option made obviously false claims, I wasn't sure where to go. I live in the country, 20-60 miles away from the nearest broadcasting towers. I ended up using Channel Master's suggested antenna, Pro-Model UHF/VHF TV Antenna, UHF addition and amplifier. I also purchased 100' of cable and a mounting pole. The quality of packaging, the clear directions, the quality made product, the ease of putting everything together made me feel good about my purchase. I mounted the antenna on my roof, hooked everything up, and have something like 100 channels - including ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, which is what I really wanted. It is rare to have such a quality experience with any company, online or not. 5 stars all the way around!

Replaced an old pre amp which seemed to be burned out, having a TV signal strength of only 22%-33% causing pixelated TV reception in the evening. Without plugging in the power injector to the Channel Master pre amp the signal strength jumped to 44%. Nice! With power plugged in the signal strength is 77%, and no pixelation has been observed. Conditions: antenna, amp, power supply, and two way splitter are located in a attic 40 miles SW of downtown Chicago OTA transmitters, Channel Master power switch is on "high", 75 feet of coax cable to each of two TVs.

I bought the Pro Model Antenna and UHF Extension based on Channelmaster’s Recommendation. The setup is as simple as matching numbers and letters. It’s already intuitive but it’s made so a young child could do the initial setup. Fox and ABC are very difficult to get in my area. I have very good clear signals on both. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I sought out the place to give a review. I usually decline all Reviews unless I’m angry. Not this time.

I purchased this antenna after all the storms destroyed another brand that i had installed. I already knew which way to point it for local channels in my area and I am very pleased with it so far. I now recommend this brand to all my friends and family.
