Great antenna

Very easy to install, great reception. The printed instructions are a little hard to use, but the videos on the website are very clear.

Got the job done

After researching and eliminating almost all other antennas, I decided to purchase the Masterpiece 45 model as Getting a little older I don’t want to be repeatedly climbing up and down to the roof , I really wanted METV channel 2-1 I’m my area , ( Ridley Park ,PA ) and as soon as I put it up and made a quick connection to my new converter box I had that channel plus several other Low band channels, very satisfied with my purchase and believe I will get many years of good use out of this Antenna , Didn’t even need the signal booster recommended, but would like to try one just to see if it brings in any more channels, Thanks again

CM 45 Masterpiece

I purchased this to be my ota source to run a tv via generator during power outages from storms/hurricanes. Often we go for days without power on our grid so keeping up with news & entertainment is important. I have it capable to connect to up to 4 5' poles, grounded, and capable of being lashed down to my pergola. This antenna can pick up Cocoa Beach which is 73 miles due South of my location and can bring in a total of 75 stations pointed in the Southern line of sight. I didn't try aiming North. I spent two months researching, including a local antenna installer, and The Antenna Man Channel (YouTube) helped convince me Channel Master was weather worthy. No regrets whatsoever and although disappointed I couldn't get the '60' model I am totally satisfied with the quality build and performance of the '45'. Highly recommend this antenna.

Masterpiece 45 Antenna

My review here was unsolicited, and I do NOT work for, or have any connection with Channel Master. This antenna was super easy to install. It is about 6lbs, so you do not need a large, tall mast to mount on unless you have a big height to overcome. If you do not need a very tall mast, the Channel Master universal swivel mount easily supports this antenna. I like the fact that the under carriage of the antenna houses the connection for the F connector and coax cable so there is nothing dangling in the wind. The rubber boot provided ensures a tight seal of the F connector so nothing enters the connection. Before you buy an antenna, place your address into the Channel Master look-up tool, or go to AntennaWeb.org in order to determine the distance to your local TV station transmission towers. Most stations now are UHF transmissions, but if some of your local stations like ABC transmit on VHF bands, then you need an antenna like this one that handles both UHF and VHF. This antenna has a 45 mile range, but CM makes them in 60 miles or greater.

One note to remember once your antenna arrives. The factory mistakenly labeled the Masterpiece 45 mile antenna as a 60 mile antenna. It's okay. The antenna in the box is really the one you ordered (Masterpiece 45 product # CM5016).

Quality Product

Works great! After 30 years of use the weather knocked down my old antenna so it was time to replace it. This one is light weight and easily mounts on the Universal Antenna Mount that I also purchased. My old antenna was at the peak of the house and I didn't want to climb that high so I chose the universal mount. I highly recommend you also think about getting the CM-7778 preamplifier. I had a CM-7778 on my old antenna and it stills works great after 30 years so I just moved it over to the new one. There is a mountain between my home and the mountain that has the TV towers so the preamplifier is a must. Before choosing your antenna determine the stations you want most and see if they are VHF or UHF. I tried replacing it with a different brand antenna but the VHF gain wasn't high enough . CM makes quality products that last a long time. .
