Quality Antenna

Had to replace my old Radio Shack antenna that I’ve had for about 30 years. This Channel Master is a much better quality antenna. Sturdier built and gets better reception!
Hopefully i get another 30 plus years from this antenna because I will be too old to get on my roof 30 years from now!!! Lol

Great Buy!

We were tired of our dish provider. So, we decided to get rid of them and just use streaming and channels that our smart tv picked up. The antenna Digital Master gave us a better picture quality and picked up additional local channels. We are so glad that we made the move. We installed it in out attic and it is awesome!

Works great

Installed for my mom. Does a great job for stations 45 miles away. Antenna is up approximately 25', no booster. Best part its saving her $180 per month not having cable!

Well constructed and performs as advertised

I installed this antenna 15 feet from ground level with 50 feet of RG-6 Channelmaster coax. I decided to try this install without an amplifier. The antenna was very easy to assemble. Excellent quality construction and fit. The boom comes in two pieces and held together with a bolt and wing nut. I live in South Florida. We are about 10 miles from the antenna farm where 90% of the stations broadcast from. With this configuration, we are receiving EVERY broadcast TV station here, including three stations in West Palm Beach FL, which are approximately 60 miles North! Every station is clear with no pixelation or distortion. Overall, this antenna performs exactly as advertised! 100% satisfied!

Very nice rig - but you may need the Channel Master PreAmp...

Because we live in "The Lightning Capital of the US," (central FL), I didn't want to mount an antenna outside. We are 45 miles from our market's tower farm and since I was mounting in the attic, I also am using the Channel Master "Amplify Adjustable Gain Preamplifier." Through no fault of this antenna, I am not receiving any VHF signals (2-13), because our new house has a metallic radiant barrier on the bottom of the roof decking -- the whole attic is shielded. Without getting technical, due to wavelength physics UHF gets through the barrier and VHF does not -- at least this far away. But even with the barrier I am getting excellent UHF reception. I tested reception with no amplifier and with the amplifier's 2 variable settings. The amp makes a huge difference. I am using the +30dB high setting. As a retired broadcast engineer, I know that if the metallic barrier was not on our roof decking, I'd be receiving all the metro VHF's as well. We're using streaming apps for the "big 3" networks (VHF) that we cannot receive OTA.
TIP: Check Channel Master's Outlet on Ebay for a preamp if you want that. I bought mine "reconditioned/open box" and saved a bundle.
