Update - Superior Reception

I recently wrote a review about the superior reception of the Channel Master 60 compared to my old antenna. I not experienced storm weather at the time of the review. I couldn't get any reception when a storm came through. We had our storms and heavy winds and the reception has be excellent on all the channels - VHF and UHF. The channels that I do not receive are from stations' whose towers are in different directions, but these stations are duplicates anyway. Great directional antenna. Expensive but worth the money. Boyertown, PA.

Superior Reception

I live in a hilly terrain 35 miles from a major city where there are serval transmission towers within 8 miles from each other, about 12 stations - 20+ channels. So a directional antenna makes sense for me. The antenna I had, Leadzm-TA 451B, advertised a 150 range. It also required a booster amp. All was good when the day as clear and calm. My signal strength ranged in the high 70's, but on windy days the signal would drop. Finally decided to change antennas to a Channel Master 60 antenna. The signal strength is in the high 90's (I am using the booster), and the picture is sharper and steady on both calm and windy days. I haven't experience a stormy day, and will need to return to report.

good bye direct TV

After having Direct Tv for 14 yrs and tired of price going up for a very few of the channels we watched, decided to go back to the old way (antenna). Being that we live in the middle of no where with lots of woods (closes mid size city is 40 miles away). First we bought one of those antenna's off amazon which worked like crap!!. We started researching and watching the antenna man and his reviews and decide to try Chanel master. We purchased the advantage 60 antenna which was a good price for what we needed. We received it and its a strong good quality build. Placed up on roof and wow we had channels ( you do have to figure out the best direction) Had a question and their support team answer us in one day (amazing). We ended up purchasing their pre antenna amplifier and am waiting to receive that to help with a stronger signal. Would defiantly buy from them again when needed. We live in Wisconsin

GOOD VALUE

This antenna will do the job & suit majority of users who want some distance! Folded Dipole UHF element is a must. This design has been around for years & has proven reliability. Pro Series CM recommends wont give you the distance even with all the extensions costing $300.00 all together. Even its Masterpiece CM 5018 wont give you the distance for $200.00.🧐 I recommend a Rotor which CM no longer carries but RCA has one that will do what you need & get channels from all directions🫡

Great

Replaced an old antenna that was falling apart. The Advantage 60 is shorter and easier to handle and picks up the channels better. Mounted 4 feet above the peak of the roof (about 25 feet above the ground). We live about 20 miles from most of the towers near Silverdale, Washington and we are in a valley. The video for the assembly was very good! We get 84 channels after re-scanning and 47 after deleting the ones we didn't want. I am a retired electronics engineer and offer my congratulations to the Channel Master designers.
