5 of 5 Clearer then ever October 8, 2020

Since changing from a Clearstream model outdoor antenna to the channel master model. I’m in a bad setup for antennas. I’m on the opposite side from my tv stations. And living in an apartment you can’t jus erect an antenna above the roof line to combat getting the best scenario for clear television. I’ve also added the LTE filter and I get an almost completely un-pixelated picture. That is free from stray signals ruining my picture. Very happy with this setup.

I've had this CM-4220HD Antenna now for about a month. The reception is great, My signal strength is 10 bars, which which means it is the best. I have it out doors on a ten foot pole on the roof. I receive a great signal on my living room TV and my bed room
TV. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made to buy it.

4 of 5 Simple wall mount and UHF 35 miles out is clear May 15, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from North Olmsted, OH
Installed only 20' up, and using a 50' cable direct to a TV, essentially all UHF within 35 miles comes in clear, even in rough weather.  I have trees around too.  The channels I seek are over about a 50 degree compass range.
So the 40 mile rating - for UHF - is easy to achieve.
For VHF however, from what I see, the rating should be more like 20 miles.  A strong VHF channel, 45 degrees off axis, 13 miles out, comes in clear but not strong.  A weak VHF channel  12 miles out (15 db less predicted signal), 50 degrees off axis will occasionally break up.
Looking at db charts are not for everyone.  If it's a major channel on VHF, you should be fine 20, maybe 30 miles out, but try to keep the antenna aimed that way.  A strong VHF channel 50 miles out did not even come up in a scan.
I am quite happy with this antenna; do not let the details in this review cause you to think otherwise.  It is unobtrusive and is doing well for a small antenna mounted only 20' up.
