I was beginning to see pixelation in my channels as this antenna has been in use for well over 10 years. I had also put one on my mom's house and she was experiencing the same issue. Finally, one of my channels went completely out. I received the new transformers and installed them the next day. Immediately everything worked and the picture seemed more clear. The shipping was fast and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
I bought this balun to replace an old one that had faded and cracked from weather, It made a significant difference in reception quality. I have used it for about 2 weeks and worked super. I just took it off because I upgraded my old antenna with the Channel Master Masterpiece 100 Antenna and it does not need a Balun. I will keep this for if I ever need to put up a secondary antenna that needs a balun. It is excellent quality and built tough. You won't go wrong buying this balun.
Made my own antenna and needed a balun to make the final connection and the area box stores didn't carry them and I found this one on Channel Master. When I received the balun it is noticeably heavier than another balun I use for another antenna I have. After hooking it up I got all my area broadcasting stations in perfectly. I would purchase again.
Just got it hooked up.....works fantastic....coupled it with 50' of coaxial cable...ran it right to the rv.....antenna was existing altready on carport....great price, transaction went so smoothly and the quality is there...thanks
I had one of those cheap plastic baluns on my antenna and would get some pixelization. Since installing this I have had none.
