Stream+ is a streaming media player and OTA DVR that works with all TV antennas. It offers an on-screen program guide and allows users to pause, rewind and record live TV with no subscription fees. Built on the powerful Android TV™ platform, the Stream+ includes the Google Play™ store for access to the most popular streaming services.
Stream+ is a streaming media player and over-the-air DVR that integrates streaming services with live broadcast TV and includes an on-screen channel guide and the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV. (*On-Screen Channel Guide is only available to US customers. *Guide and DVR functionality requires an internet connection.)
Connecting an external USB hard drive to the Stream+ will enable DVR capability. When enabled, Stream+ allows users to record one live program while watching another, or record two live programs at the same time while watching a previously recorded program. Using the on-screen channel guide, Stream+ users can schedule either a one-time recording or an entire series.
Stream+ is built on Google's ™ Android TV platform allowing users to add their favorite apps and streaming services from the Google Play™ store. It includes a bluetooth universal remote with voice search that can be programmed to control most TVs and audio devices eliminating the need for multiple remotes. The dynamic interface of the Stream+ allows users the freedom and convenience to navigate between live TV, DVR and popular streaming apps without the need to switch devices, TV inputs or remote controls. Stream+ also includes advanced Google features such as built in Chromecast™ functionality.
Important Note!! The Stream+ will play a live event while it is recording although it is not possible to start the event from the beginning until it has finished recording.

This was a very good purchase so far! It shipped quickly and was advertised. Easy to set up and use. I bought it for my elderly mother and she likes how easy it is to use.
Came with a a good remote that is easy to use. Turns on and off the TV ..volume and channel control. If it last this was just what I needed for my mom...might buy one for myself!
With the exception of not having Netflix available ( which I do not subscirbe to so I don't care ), this is an awesome android streaming device, a chromecast device and tv tuner with tv guide device. I am sorry to see it put out to pasture, nice little unit that does it's job well.
I've had the Stream+ for over a year and it's been very frustrating. I returned it but the replacement is having just as many problems.The DVR is lacking in basic features like the ability to manually program recordings or add buffer time. There's no mute, previous channel or record buttons on the remote. Basic things that are just completely lacking.
Worst thing about the Stream+ is that I can't use any of the apps to watch streaming TV without the DVR ending up malfunctioning in some way. The only way for the DVR to function well is to never use it for streaming TV. This was a huge disappointment. If I could afford a Tivo or Tablo I would get one, but they are too expensive for me right now. Really the only thing Channel Master has going for it is that it's the cheapest option with no subscription or ongoing fees.
I should say that the customer support has been excellent. Probably one of the best customer support experiences I've ever had. Too bad the product isn't better.
We are retired so watch a lot of TV. We wanted to cut the cord and after trying other DVRs found Stream+ After a couple of hiccups, works wonderfully, after customer support and a factory reset. We have the tv on about 10 hours a day. Customer support is wonderful, just an email away and fast service! Thanks, miss a mute and channel recall buttons on the remote, only glitch, too bad you MUST have internet, but it is Google TV!
The channel master OTA DVR is a great product for the money. It was easy to set up. Channel guide is great and recording programs is also easy.
