The CM-3203 Antenna Balun Deluxe is a professional grade 300 to 75 Ohm impedance matching transformer used to connect standard coaxial cable to outdoor TV antennas with 300 Ohm connection terminals. It is compatible with all 300 Ohm outdoor TV antennas and enhances performance over in-expensive standard baluns.

Purchased the new Pre-Amp and the best Balun for my old Channel Master Super V antenna. Install was easy and the results have been good. My location is about 45+ miles from the broadcast locations. My antenna is 40+ years old and located inside my attic.
If you don't mind being outside, up on the roof, buy one (or several) plastic Chinese baluns. But if your roof is like mine, where the roof's slope increases with every passing year of your age, buy this one. Bought to replace a failing balun on an ANCIENT outdoor rooftop antenna (think 1970's).
It's solid, a quality metal canister. 300 leads are solidly attached. They have rings (the replaced balun had U shaped connectors). Rings much easier, especially if, like me, you're trying to connect the washer and wingnut with your non-dominant hand while your dominant hand is maintaining a death grip on the antenna pole. Due to the build quality, tightening the wingnuts had no risk of separating ring from wire. The 75 connector feels solid, not moving when connecting the coaxial cable (the replaced balun's 75 connector twisted out of the case, but after 20 years, acceptable). Given I'm line of sight to the transmission towers, perhaps a lesser model would suffice, but my time "up top" deserves first class.
Heart rate has returned to normal, legs still wobbly, and an excellent picture on my OTA TV. Cost for expected longevity well worth it. A trip up top every couple of decades... fine by me. Quality of this balun self-evident. You'll thank yourself a decade or two later.
Teamed it with their 50' white coax to replace a 50 year old ribbon antenna cable and now have a very happy Mom.

This balun and matching transformer may seem pricey but if you want crystal clear reception it is better to splurge on Channel Master products. Their equipment will stand the test of time and vastly outperforms the cheaper dreck that is out there. Don't cheap out and use lesser products. Channel Master is the only way to go. Plus, you'll never get the help from those other companies that you will with Channel Master. You're wasting your time if you don't go with Channel Master. Don't be a chump.
