4 of 5 Ultra Mini 1 distr amp August 31, 2020

Cable loss and splitter give me about a 12 dB loss.  The Ultra Mini 1's 15 dB gain, even with 2 dB NF, nicely compensates and works well.

The only shortcoming is that it seems susceptible to damage when power is restored after outages.  I replaced one last summer after a power loss and just did the same this summer after a tropical storm rolled through.  I wised up and am using a surge suppressor now and  hopefully that protects it.  Very nice product, though.

5 of 5 This amp really boosts TV signal strength! August 19, 2020

I was shopping your website for a distribution amp to supply boosted signals to 4 TV's. Your Ultra-Mini 4 seemed like the perfect amp that would eliminate several splitters and increase signal strength. Every time I looked to order one, it was out of stock so I decided to get the Ultra Mini 1 and link it with a 4-way splitter. The results are exceptional as the higher output from the single port easily overcomes any losses from the 4-way splitter and allowed for simpler wiring into my existing RG-6 cable layout. Thanks again for your great products and excellent Tech support!

5 of 5 Attic installation August 4, 2020
Reviewer: Mike from Nashville, TN
We live in a Townhome and I have easy access to the attic, however running a wire for an outside antenna would be a challenge.  So, I ordered the Omni+50 antenna and the Ultra Mini 1 and placed both in the attic.  I then ran the antenna cable to the utility room upstairs and hooked it into my Tablo.  I now get almost all of the 49 channels listed in our area.  I was very impressed with the quality of both the antenna and the Ultra Mini 1.  I would recommend both to anyone looking to "cut the cable."

The product works well. I was disappointed in the service level. I paid for 2 day shipping and it came in a week.

5 of 5 Installed in series May 3, 2020
Reviewer: Peter from Toronto
I’ve just installed my ultra mini 1 to amplify my signal before a long run of RG6.  My installation was wonky... I send my antenna signal down to my basement , where I split it into 4, 2 back to the attic (one is not connected) and 1 to the main floor and 1 to the basement.

Antenna  was pointed right , since my direct to tv connection from the antenna without any amplification picked up 38 channels but once I connected all that length of cable my TVs dropped to 22channels (I lost 2+, 4, 7+, 51+) I installed the channel master 1:4 amplified splitter in the attic before the long run to the basement, 1 down the long run to the basement, and 1 to my attic TV.  The attic TV picked up 38, the basement or main floor were at 32. so I checked with channel master, and they were awesome at following my weird cable explanation.  She suggested I can run the amplifiers in series.

So I installed the ultra mini, and wow, 38,38,38 FINALLY!!  Great product, great support, great company!
