Impressed With This Antenna

I'm about 80-90 miles from Springfield MO TV towers and I'm getting almost all the stations clearly, 24hrs a day, without a pre-amp. Pretty excellent since the highest I can place this antenna is 15 feet. Being at a little higher altitude than Springfield probably helps. The only network station I cant get most days is CBS KOLR10 which I believe is still high band VHF, and has been operating for years under reduced power per FCC. All other stations are UHF. This antenna can pick up high VHF and I will be installing a pre-amp with gain control just to pick up KOLR10. Added note: I am using a distribution amp for my 2 TVs. I had a problem with one of my TVs not getting consistent good reception. Tuner or coax connector in that TV was the problem, and I solved it by connecting an external digital tuner to the TV AV ports. Assembly of antenna was exceptionally easy. I broke one wing nut during assembly because they seem to be light duty aluminum. I suggest that wings nuts should be replaced with with stainless steel 10-32 wing nuts. Antenna is 99.9% metal and should stand up very well to wind & weather. Amazing fast delivery! Ordered on Tuesday. CM shipped same day. FedEx delivered that Friday ..

My Go To Antenna

I have been installing antennas for customers for years and this antenna works like much larger antennas. It is relatively light and only about 7.5 feet long. I come prepared to used a preamp but about 75% of the time it doesn't need one. I travel up to 50 miles for installs and don't want to have to drive back out for reception problems later. This antenna works.

Antenna worked great with amplifier. Towers were at 50 to 70 miles installed it on house on the water shot across water for towers on other coast.
