Two Mini 2's in use

I use a Mini 2 as replacement for the drop amplifier my cable provider originally installed, that had failed. I use another Mini 2 to boost the signal on a HD antenna and have doubled the number of stations I receive. These are quality made products. Highly recommended!

Amazing device!

I'm in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles which is between Hollywood and Glendale. The transmitters are on Mt. Wilson about 21 miles away. The antenna to the living room TV is about 50 feet of RG6 coax cable and antenna to my loft is about 30 feet where I have the splitter. With my omnidirectional antenna and NO amplifier, I got 115 channels. With this amplified dual splitter, I get 164 channels to each output! Going to Channel Master's web page antenna map, I get just about all the channels and more not listed. There's only about 10 channels with some pixelation (weak signal/weak transmitter). Very happy with my purchase. Great value.

Great Little Amp.

I live in a radio signal shadow of our water tower. My neighbors, a hundred yards away, have good reception with the equivalent of rabbit ear antennas. I have a Antennas Direct long range antenna on a 35 foot mast and the signal is still iffy. I added the amplifier to the output of the antenna and now I have great signal reception. I used to receive 26 stations clearly now I have 62 stations that are acceptable.

Problem solved

2nd TV is now receiving the same amount of channels as the other TV. Both have a sharper picture. Good quality product. Thanks

Reliable Strong Signals

I don't like to write reviews soon after purchase. We have used our Mini-2 for a few months now, and it works like a champ, providing strong signals to our two widely-separated TVs in spite of the long cable from our attic yagi antenna to our basement Mini-2. It uses the traditional funky power-thru-cable connection to its power supply, and the power supply has a bright green LED when connected to 120V AC. I found other splitter/amplifiers to be unusable, so am very happy to have one that works.
