Product Information

Overview

The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier will amplify signals received by your antenna. This antenna amplifier is a high gain, low noise preamplifier used to allow weaker signals at the antenna to be amplified to a viewable strength, and is ideal for installations in which all broadcast towers are located at a distance of more than 80 miles. The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier is a two part unit, an outdoor amplification unit which is mounted on the mast of your antenna system and an indoor unit which powers the outdoor amplification unit. The indoor unit is stationed indoors and connects to the outdoor unit via coaxial cable. The Titan 2 High Gain Preamplifier is recommended for professional installers only. Due to the high gain output of this product, it can result in over amplification if not used in the appropriate scenario. Over amplification can cause issues with the television tuner’s ability to receive and display some or all channels.  (When installing a splitter with this amplifier it must be a power passing splitter, most common splitters will not pass power.)

Works as expected

I purchased an amplifier from Channel Master many years ago, and it served me well. After trying a few cheaper alternatives that didn’t hold up, I decided it was time to go back to the best. This unit is built to last—durable, reliable, and made with quality parts. While it’s not the cheapest option out there, it’s absolutely worth the investment for the performance and long-term value.

Works great!

Over 100 miles away from Mpls/St. Paul towers and the Titan2 on a 40 foot antenna is bringing in a ton of channels. Good quality. Looks way better built than the previous unit that lightning took out. Called with a question before I purchased and they called me back ASAP. Very happy.

Barn antenna

We had an electrical storm that shook the house. (We had installed the original Titan 2 about 11 years ago) The next day no tv reception, unscrewed the coax by the power inserter from the amplifier and the wire was burned off. Tried to bypass the inserter but no luck. Ordered a new version 3, it arrived a few days later. Had 2 of my sons go up on the barn roof and replace the amp and a new inserter down below and nice clear pictures. We have a splitter in the barn and one in the house. Works great for us! Thanks

Looks are not deceiving

When my "generic pre amp from China" started acting up I thought it was time to consider a better product. I settled on Channel Master. Ordering and shipping were very easy with several follow ups until the Pre amp arrived earlier than promised. Off to a good start. As soon as I unpacked the amp I was impressed. No cheap plastic in sight ! Easy to follow instructions and solid performance as expected. To say I am pleased with this purchase would be a understatement ! If you buy one you to can enjoy the same experience so what are you waiting for "GO FOR IT" !

Titan amp

Works well. It replaces my original 2 level amp which lost the high gain circuit in an electrical storm. My original DVR+ is 12 years old and still working well. I only wish they still sold the CM-750000XRC2 remote. There is a company named Buttonworx which sells the replacement membrane for that remote.
