Overview

The Channel Master JOINtenna combines coaxial inputs from two individual outdoor TV antennas allowing for the distribution of two antennas on a single coaxial cable.

Channel Master JOINtenna is designed to simplify installations in which a user desires to receive television signals from two different transmitter locations/directions without the use of an Antenna Rotator. The JOINtenna is built for outdoor applications with an all-weather housing and has two coaxial inputs and a single coaxial output. The most common application for the JOINtenna is in the several locations across the United States where television reception is available from two DMA’s (Designated Market Area) otherwise known as “Local Markets”.

Typically most antennas are directional in nature making it very difficult if not impossible to receive signals from both locations with a single antenna. Channel Master's Antenna Rotator has served as a solution to this problem for many years and while it allows the user to only use one antenna, the installation and user experience can be more complicated. If looking to avoid the installation of an antenna rotator by using two antennas, the JOINtenna is the answer. Simply connect the output of two antennas to the two inputs on the JOINtenna and then connect the JOINtenna output to the residential/commercial coaxial cable network to be distributed to a single or multiple televisions.

In addition to it's antenna “Joining” capabilities, the JOINtenna is also equipped with a built-in LTE filter to eliminate cellular LTE signals from interfering with your TV signals.

Good unit

Using this in NE Ohio to combine an old commercial VHF/UHF antenna with a homemade UHF yagi which is pointed ~90 degrees away. Unit works very well for all but one channel (RF 27). That signal comes from the VHF/UHF antenna, but when the yagi is connected to the JOINtenna, the signal quality drops to near 0 (but the signal strength is still good on that channel). Have not yet pursued any resolution to this (e.g. changing antenna lead phasing, length of cabling, physical antenna placement, etc.) since that particular channel isn't of interest. Overall, pleased with the unit since it eliminates the need to switch back and forth between two antennas.

Fine product

Using two antennas stacked vertically both pointed at distant favorite station (WETA) in an attempt to minimize multipath aircraft interference. Apparently two inputs ar 180 degrees out of phase. Don’t know if this is designed. Two 75/300 former seemed to fix

Satisfaction

Finally, a product that delivers what it claims it will do. And shipped promptly too. This company is a rare diamond during these times of unavailability.

Antenna joiner review

Worked as advertised in spite of quite a long co-ax cable connection. approx. 250 ft. Also worked despite two very different antennas.
I hope it survives our AZ summer.

Great Customer Service Supporting Great Products

Ordered on Amazon and it was shipped from Channel Master within 3 hours. Unfortunately the USPS lost it for a while as it did not move from Arizona for over a week so I contacted customer service and they quickly sent a replacement with UPS and it arrived a few days later. I now have two high-gain antennas pointed at different towers in opposite directions and get all local channels with strong stable signals without using a rotator or having to manually move them.
