Reception's Great!

I live in the 'couv, 15-20 miles north of the radio towers in Portland, OR. I'm situated at the very end of a five townhome, two story structure. The entire structure is pretty much in LOS of the towers, give or take a few degrees. I started w/ the Channel Master FLATenna+ but reception wasn't great, no mater where I moved it. My HOA eventually granted permission to mount an antenna on my roof (w/ a METRIC TON of stipulations) but decided to avoid the headache and mount one in my attic instead. Well, I'm happy to reports everything's good to go, so far! My signal quality percentage hovers around the mid to high 80's, and the signal strength is a solid 100%. I also bought the preamp just in case I needed some extra *OOMPH* to overcome the structure, trees, etc. but ended up not needing it + it degraded my signal quality about 5% . It's too late to return unfortunately but might come in handy if I ever move further away. I do admit the preamp + this antenna might of been a bit overkill in my situation. The METROtenna 40 may have worked just as well + saved some $$$ but it got the job done ; )

Better than my homemade 4-bowtie

Bought this to replace a homemade 4-bowtie antenna much like this one. Figured the Channel master would be better and indeed it is. All my channels are stronger now. Attic mounted, receiving through a 5" thick natural stone veneer gable end. Farthest station I use is 60 miles. I do use a Channel Master preamp and 8 channel distribution amp. I should re-scan to see if it picks up other channels, but I already get what I wanted. Was going to get the 8-bowtie antenna, but it wouldn't fit in my attic. Turns out I didn't need it.

Well made antenna pulls in more over the air channels

TV station broadcast towers in my area are located in an arc of about 120 degrees from my house. Distance to the broadcast towers varies from 20 - 30 miles. I replaced a directional antenna in the attic space above my garage with this flat-panel antenna. With the old antenna I received 107 channels of varying quality. With the new antenna I now receive 122 channels and ALL of them are crystal clear.

Installation was a breeze as there is no assembly required, except tightening a few wingnuts.

FANTABULOUS

I LOVE THIS ATENNA. EASY TO SET UP, TOOK ABOUT 30 MINS ON A 15 FOOT POLL, AND 25 FOOT OF COAX. NO AMP NEEDED!

Worked great in attic

Mounted this in my attic for stations about 40 miles away. Worked great without an amplifier and about 30 feet of coax. Stations are clear and solid.
