Arrived on time packaged well and instructions clear. Best of all, works beyond expectation. I’m getting channels from 140 miles. I live in the coastal plain though. Good product

5 of 5 Beyond Expectations December 22, 2020

After Hulu's recent price increase, I decided to try this antenna w/pre-amp/mounting kit. I also bought a Tablo 4 channel DVR to broadcast the received signal via Wi-Fi, avoiding in-home wiring.

I put the antenna up on the highest point of the house (about 20 feet above ground) and pointed it at a compromise boresite (based on TVFool.com data) between High Point and Winston Salem, both about 45 miles away.

I performed a channel scan and received all the major networks from these two cities' stations. Surprisingly, off the antenna backside, in the entirely opposite direction, I picked up all the Charlotte stations, 50 miles away. I have a high ridge line behind the house in the Charlotte direction so I really didn't expect to receive these stations. Plus, I am receiving from Roanoke VA (126 miles away) on the main lobe and Wake Forest NC (130 miles away) on a sidelobe.   Overall, the antenna is receiving 66 channels across the VHF, as well as the expected UHF, spectrum.

5 of 5 Extreme Tenna for my lake cottage August 11, 2020
Reviewer: Paul from Mecosta County, Michigan
I purchased the bundle for my lake cottage in Michigan.  We are between the Grand Rapids and Traverse City markets.  Since the cable up here is expensive and unreliable, I researched antennas to death until I found this bundle.  Everything went together as expected.  Once I ran the tuning menu, all I can say is WOW.  I went from 3 channels with an indoor antenna to 20.  My antenna is aimed toward Traverse City and I am picking up 4 stations there over 80 miles away!  I’m even getting 4 stations from Grand Rapids over 40 miles out, even though it’s outside the 180 degree range I’m aiming!  I’ve only had this installed for a few days so far, but I’m no longer having pixelation issues, picture is steady and clear.  Highly recommended!

4 of 5 Good antenna, mixed bundle results August 4, 2020
Reviewer: R. S. from Bellaire, MI
I live around 56 miles from a tower that I wanted to receive with some other stronger ones off central axis by less than 90 degrees.  My mudflap with an amplifier got periodic good reception, but I wanted to make it consistently better.  Adding the properly aimed Extremetenna 80 improved signal quality, but the Amplify only seemed to boost a marginal signal to the point where it was unusable. I therefore went with a less strong amplifier which helped to boost the signal strength just enough to get me to 100% fairly consistently.  This seems strange since I would have figured that all of the CM equipment would work so well together, but after much fussing and calls to Technical Support, I sent the Amplify back (sadly, for the 3rd time).  Anyway, I really like the performance of the antenna and its possible that the Amplify could work better for some other situations.
