USB Wi-Fi Adapter April 23, 2015
Reviewer: Robert from Riverbank, CA United States
Currently, I have an Amazon Fire TV and use a switch box to change between Fire TV and Broadcast TV.  I plugged the Wi-Fi Adapter to the DVR and having the two at the same time, they interfered with eachother.  It was late in the evening, so I unplugged the Wi-Fi Adapter and continued to use the current system.
My question is:  Will the Wi-Fi Adapter sucessfully replace the Amazon Fire TV?  What sites are streamable?
To add insult to injury, I searched for the Wi-Fi Adapter today and it seems it went out with last weeks recycle bin.  If you think that it will work in place of Fire TV, please send a replacement.

Thanks

Wi-Fi adapter April 22, 2015
Reviewer: Frederick Carney from Wimberley, TX United States
The ChannelMaster recorder is terrific. Can't say enough good things about it. The wi-fi adapter is, however, too weak for use and I'm not the only one who has experienced this. I ended up purchasing a Netgear extender (5201) and it works great, and the cost was about the same as the USB wireless adapter from Channel Master. The netgear unit uses the home electrical wiring as the internet connection, and a short ethernet cable plugs right into the back of the Channel Master. I've seen bad reviews on their adapter before, and they should do something to 'pump up' the gain on it or stop selling it. Again their recording unit is great and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
