I bought this to ditch the Dish and to replace another antenna that quit working. After installing it outside on top of a 21-foot piece of 1" pipe and pointing it in the right direction, I was astounded at the quality of reception. I get channels from stations 100 miles to the north and from stations 100 miles to the south. It got more channels than one I had that claimed a 2,000 mile range: NOT! I know it works because the wind blew the antenna out of position and I wasn't getting clear reception any more. When I redirected it and retightened the mounting nuts and bolts, all the channels came in crystal clear again. I even got channels I though I had to pay for. If they are OTA free, why does Dish charge you to get them in certain packages or plans? Anyway, I am overjoyed with this antenna and highly recommend it.

I live in a remote area, with not much for hills or trees, but was unable to get CBS of NBC during the day with a 5 star antenna, this beast brings them in clearly all day long! I do have it mounted about 35 ft in the air, but we are about 85 miles from the broadcast antennas. I would recommend this antenna to anyone in this situation. It is a large antenna, but if you mount it on a good quality antenna mount, you shouldn't have any issues, as it is a well built antenna!

it is the best quality I have seen. I have been using antennas for over 50 years. Plus 18 years before that when I lived at home. I live in an area where signal, TV and cell phone, is poor. BUT I lost a few channels. And a few more channels kept drifting out for a few seconds at a time.
so far, I have tried several brands and kinds of antenna. But with using a channel master preamp, none have worked as well as my old antenna.
Quality is great, probably will work great in most areas. But did not work in my fringe area surrounded by trees.
So, I went back to my 20 year old antenna which gives me better reception.
so far, the return has been easy.

I would say that Channel Master is superior to any other antenna available out there.

I already owned one Masterpiece 100 and really liked how it performed and how well it was made. I also own a couple of Televes antenna's and I think the Masterpiece 100 outperforms them a little. I combined the two Masterpiece 100's so that one get's Washington DC channels and one get's Baltimore channels. I used a Televes dual input preamp to power them and am very happy with the results. The box that I received the antenna in was kind of beat up but they had another box inside that box that the antenna was in so there was no damage. Channel Master used Fedex to ship the antenna in and shipping was free. Very happy with my purchase.
