An excellent antenna for most areas.  The vertical stacking widens the azimuth reception without compromising gain--an important quality given that many UHF broadcasters have transmit sites scattered in different locations. Also, this antenna is retuned for the current United States UHF spectrum .

Jacksonville FL still uses four low power VHF broadcast channels.  This is likely the reason you won't receive them with this antenna.

still unable to recive regular local channels October 28, 2015

i figured with this antenna i would reach all the local channels. to the major media channels. all the local channels antennas are about the same distance and distance but still unable to bring in the normal channels

The CM4228HD antenna is designed to Receive the Current Broadcast Tv Channels of.
UHF Band Channels 14 thru 51.
VHF High Band channels 7 thru 13.

The CM4228HD antenna will also receive strong signal strength VHF Low Band Channels 2 thru 6.

The v shaped reception elements are the front of antenna and are directed toward the transmitting antenna tower/s.

No Obstructions of Any and All Types and Kinds Between the Receiving Antenna and Transmitting Antenna Will Provide the Best Reception.

Any and All types and Kinds of Obstructions Between Receiving Antenna and Transmitting Antenna Will Degrade Reception.

My reception outside of the Phoenix Arizona Metro Area with No Obstructions between the transmitting antenna towers on South Mountain and the receiving CM4228HD antenna is excellent.
