Antenna reception December 30, 2015
Reviewer: Al
I installed an Omni antenna initially which gave me reception where I live  (East SF Bay Area).  I found out first out pretty fast that I needed a more powerful antenna. So I chose the Extremetenna 80. I have been using this antenna now for a few weeks, and I get all the channels I could not get with the OMNI antenna. definitely more powerful. I live in an area where antenna reception is tough to get. But I have been getting up early morning to see all the major channels working excellent and very clear. Something I could not get with the old antenna. I would definitely recommend this antenna.

What a Difference, better than the Cable Company December 30, 2015
Reviewer: Mike from S. E. Virginia
Previous to EXTREMEtenna 80 (CM4228HD), we had two SMARTenna (CM3000HD) one for each TV. Reception was good, program between 15-19 channels, frequently reception was spotty on certain stations. The SMARTenna's were mounted close to the TV's, I purchased a 1000 Ft. pull box of RG6 quad shielded coaxial cable, installed weatherproof compression connector on all of my drops through out the house to each of the 5  bedrooms, and family room. Cable for future expansion. Installed EXTREMEtenna 80 in attic using Universal Antenna Mount (CM3090) to rafters.
Origin point of cable runs is in the garage, and I mounted the Ultra Mini 2 (CM3412) distribution amplifier. Utilizing the antenna selection guide on  Channel Master website setting the direction for antenna.
After  connecting the TV's and to the Ultra Mini 2 distribution amplifier,  re-ran the Auto program on TV's and we could not believe the difference.  We now have 48 channels available, and better reception than we had before.

CM4228HD November 5, 2015

An excellent antenna for most areas.  The vertical stacking widens the azimuth reception without compromising gain--an important quality given that many UHF broadcasters have transmit sites scattered in different locations. Also, this antenna is retuned for the current United States UHF spectrum .
