Overview

Antenna Rotator Control Unit compatible with Channel Master brand antenna rotator drive units.

The Channel Master Rotator control unit is designed to work with all Channel Master outdoor rotator drive units (drive unit not included). When the control box is connected to an outdoor drive unit it enables the rotation of an outdoor antenna from an indoor location with a hand-held remote control. The Channel Master control unit has internal memory which will allow the user to auto tune an antenna to rotate to up to 69 pre-programmed positions. The stand alone rotator control unit is perfect for those in need of a replacement control unit for an existing drive unit installation or simply looking to upgrade to the newer style control unit.

excellent replacement for old controller

Our original controller and remote (from 2004) no longer worked. Broadcast TV channels that were near the orientation of the antenna came in OK, but with some interference. The replacement controller and remote was simple to install and is now working wonderfully. Channels come in clear and perfect.

Excellent Replacement for Old Style Controlle

I acquired this controller to replace an old style controller that has a knob to set direction. Unlike the old controller, the new one is quiet, accurate, and doesn’t weigh as much as a small car. The new controller has a feature that can automatically recalibrate the rotator after several rotations. The degree readout on the front panel is invaluable to me. The remote control is really convenient. I use this controller with an old 3-wire rotator sold by Radio Shack many years ago, and it should work with any 3-wire rotator branded by Channel Master, Radio Shack, and others. I use it to position a 1-meter loop receiving antenna with excellent results. Well done, Channel Master!

Fix

Just what I needed. The previous unit stopped working so I was unable to rotate the antenna for best reception and could only bring in one scratchy station. After connecting to the new unit I received 16 channels. A world of difference in a rural community!

This new one replaced one from 2000. The box is much larger and has blue numbers which are a little hard to see, it does not have a power supply but a direct plug in which eliminated some of the congestion on the power strip, also the remote is smaller than the old one. No other option other than to get it from Channel Master but they gave me 10% off for being a prior customer. I appreciated that.
